Here's what you'll get from

Ivybound’s College Admissions Services

Our services are divided into two major components of the college application process. Both constituents are building blocks to craft a strong application and empower you to become a candidate that the colleges cannot resist. With all the necessary steps, you will be a sure admit to your “best-fit” colleges.

College Pre-Application Planning Package

For Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors

Most people forget that Grades 9, 10, and 11 are important years to build what is required to be written in the application– the classes you choose, the right set of extracurriculars, summer activities, and most importantly, do you demonstrate an academic passion?

IvyBound Advisors will work with you to create your personalized Pre-Application Program, crafting:

Your Roadmap

Academic Passion
Identify an academic passion or field of study, will be the key theme that ties all activities of the student to the college application.
Academic Classes
Create a 4-year academic plan of coursework that is challenging yet manageable, and best suits the academic niche of the student, eliminating classes that are superfluous and don’t match your goal.
Extracurricular Activity Planning
Recommend appropriate activities that will help the student stand apart from the competition. Remove weak activities that are time-consuming and do not help the application.
Community Service Planning
Determine which community service work would be the best fit for the student according to the student’s area of passion.
Leadership Planning
Explore ways to demonstrate leadership qualities, an appealing quality to colleges.
Summer Activities
Craft an insightful and compelling summer, by choosing activities that showcase the student’s academic passion. Rule out inessential activities that colleges do not care for.
Testing Roadmap
Create a well thought-out plan for when to take SAT/ACT exams, SAT Subject tests, and AP/IB exams (if applicable) so that the student is not pressured in 11th grade to take all tests.
Contests & Awards
Select specific contests and awards the student should apply for, another data set that looks excellent on the college application.
College Visits
Set up optimal times to visit colleges, and evaluate fit of the college.
